Come celebrate the start of a new season of growth and opportunity for both our students and the school at our annual Spring Fling fundraiser.  Ticket sales for this event will benefit the Lakeside School Tuition Assistance Program for farm and forest early childhood education!

This year's Spring Fling will be held at Black Kettle Farm  to celebrate our 15th year and honor the Eddy Foundation for their decade-long support of Lakeside School. Their gift of time enabled us to build our foundation on the land, which in 2018 became our forever home.

Start the evening with light hors d’oeuvres paired with wine and local beer from Ledge Hill Brewery while being entertained by the mind-bending magic of Lakeside parent Alyx Hilshey and improvised music by Taylor Haskins and his son and Lakeside alumnus, Felix. Stay for an elegant evening in our enchanting barn decorated with floral arrangements by Echo Farm’s Kirsten Liebl and a truly farm-to-table menu created by Farmstead Catering. Then, top off the evening with a vibrant live auction to help further our fundraising goals.

TICKET OPTIONS

Community Happy Hour only  | 5-6pm |  $45 per person

Celebrate the 15th year of learning at Lakeside School and share a toast with our honoree at a one hour, pre-dinner party featuring seasonal appetizers prepared by Farmstead Catering.  The menu will include a selection of artisanal farm-made charcuterie, fresh and aged cheeses, pickled/fresh/fermented vegetables. Enjoy a selection of wine and local beer, donated by Ledge Hill Brewery while being entertained by the roving magic of Alyx Hilshey and the music of Taylor & Felix Haskins ‘19.

Community Happy Hour + Dinner in the Field  | 5-9pm |  $200 per person

Arrive for the happy hour (see above) and stay for dinner in the barn. Enjoy a family style menu with organic ingredients from nearby Echo Farm and prepared by Farmstead Catering on an open fire outside our barn. Wine and beer, provided by Westport's Ledge Hill Brewery, will be served until 9pm so you can raise a glass to our honoree and partake in some retail therapy during the live auction!

Table Sponsorship   $2000

Sponsor a table for 8 and choose friends and family as your guests or let us choose for you! Your sponsorship will include 8 tickets and written acknowledgement in all print and web materials.

Corporate and Organizational Sponsorship  $3,000

Businesses and other organizations can sponsor a table for 8 guests plus and receive corporate level sponsorship in all Lakeside print and web materials for 2022-2023. Email or call for more information.

Flower Arrangements   $50   

Further support Lakeside’s tuition assistance program and bring home a centerpiece designed by Kirsten Liebl with flowers she grew at Echo Farm. Your arrangement will be tagged with your name on it to be taken home by you at the end of the evening.

Faculty & Staff Ticket Sponsorship   Priceless

This year we hope to celebrate our Lakeside faculty and staff by inviting them to attend our Spring Fling free of charge. If you are unable to attend the Spring Fling, you can still contribute to the evening’s success by underwriting a faculty and staff ticket.  Just make a donation to our tuition assistance fund and your gift will also sponsor a faculty or staff member to attend the event.
