WELCOME TO LAKESIDE
Lakeside School at Black Kettle Farm is a Farm & Forest school, inspired by Waldorf education in Essex County, New York, serving families with young children. Situated amidst the Adirondack Mountains and the fertile farmland of the Boquet River Valley, our school provides an enriching natural setting for our many programs, including year-round child care, a farm- and forest-based Pre-K and Kindergarten programs, and a parent-child play group.
By foot we explore the wilds; with hands we work together;
through love we connect to each other.

This season, we’ll offer our parent/caregiver and child program on Saturdays in October and November. Dates will be added soon!
Mountain Tots is a welcoming space for families, little adventurers, and even expecting parents to gather, explore, and enjoy time together in nature.
